TERMS OF SERVICE
Last updated May 02, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ByteAI — tech news, distilled by AI — including our website at https://www.byteaiofficial.com and our iOS application (collectively, the “Services”), operated by Sravan Ravula (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By using ByteAI, you represent that you meet this age requirement, that all information you provide is accurate, and that your use of the Services does not violate any applicable law or regulation.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the credentials used to access your account, for all activity that occurs under your account, and for promptly notifying us of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our sole discretion, with or without prior notice.
3. User-Generated Content
ByteAI lets you post bytes, comments, interview write-ups, and other content (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content. By posting it, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for technical purposes such as resizing or formatting), display, and distribute your User Content within the Services. This license ends when you remove the content or close your account, except for copies already shared with other users in good faith.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent that you have all rights necessary to post it and that it does not infringe any third party rights.
4. Objectionable Content — Zero Tolerance
ByteAI has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You agree not to post, upload, transmit, or otherwise share content that:
- is unlawful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or invasive of another person’s privacy;
- is hateful, racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise discriminatory;
- contains sexual content, gratuitous violence, or content that exploits or endangers minors;
- infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property right;
- is spam, contains malware, or attempts to manipulate platform metrics;
- impersonates any person or entity, including ByteAI staff;
- contains personal information of others without their consent;
- promotes illegal activity, fraud, or violence.
We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to review, refuse, modify, or remove any User Content that, in our sole judgment, violates these Terms. We may suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly post such content.
5. Reporting and Blocking
ByteAI provides in-app tools so you can report content or block other users:
- Report:tap the overflow menu on any post, comment, profile, or message and choose “Report.” Reported content is routed to our moderation queue. Content that violates these Terms is removed; repeat offenders are banned. Safety-critical reports are prioritized.
- Block:tap the overflow menu on a user’s profile or message thread and choose “Block.” Blocked users will not see your posts or messages, and you will not see theirs.
If you believe content infringes your copyright, contact us at officialbyteai@gmail.com with details of the alleged infringement.
6. AI-Generated Content
ByteAI uses Google Cloud AI (Gemini) to summarize and surface tech content. AI-generated summaries may contain inaccuracies and should not be relied upon as authoritative or as professional advice. We do our best to validate AI output against source material, but you should verify important information from primary sources.
7. Acceptable Use
In addition to the content rules above, you agree not to:
- scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Services without our written permission;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from the Services;
- circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security or rate-limiting features;
- use the Services to send unsolicited promotional messages;
- create accounts by automated means or use the Services on behalf of multiple users.
8. Intellectual Property
The Services, including all software, designs, logos, and content other than User Content, are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time by emailing officialbyteai@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Services. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, governing law) survive.
10. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or relating to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100).
12. Apple App Store Terms
If you access ByteAI through Apple’s App Store, the following additional terms apply:
- These Terms are between you and us only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Services or their content.
- The license granted to you for the iOS app is limited to a non-transferable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the app.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing claims about the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to legal requirements, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you upon your acceptance.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version is indicated by the date at the top of this page and takes effect when posted. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
